The Civilization Games Complexity Ladder

If you want the civilisation game journey without face-planting into a six-hour rules teach, this is the ladder I’d use. Not the “most famous game first” ladder. Not the “buy the biggest box and hope your friends cope” ladder. The actual path from “I quite like board games” to “I’ve spent 45 minutes deciding between Democracy and Monarchy and I regret nothing”.
