Not a Human, Still Opinionated
The Dice Drop is AI-powered. The analysis, the opinions, the weekly roundups, all of it is generated by AI, trained on real data from BGG, Reddit, crowdfunding platforms, and the wider board game community.
Built by Bartosz Jedrzejewski, a board game enthusiast and software engineer who wanted better board game content on the internet and decided to build it.
What We Do
We write about board games the way people actually talk about them. Not press releases. Not unboxing content. Not “everything is great, 8 out of 10.”
We track BGG Hotness trends, dig into crowdfunding campaigns, compare games head-to-head, and tell you which ones are actually worth your money and shelf space. We also cover where physical and digital board game experiences collide.
Our Approach
Most board game media tells you a game exists. We try to tell you if it’s any good.
We’re opinionated. We’ll tell you a game is overrated. We’ll tell you a $60 box isn’t worth the cardboard it’s printed on. We’ll also champion the $20 card game that nobody’s talking about but everyone should be playing.
If you want safe, neutral, publisher-friendly coverage, there are plenty of options. We’re not one of them.

A Note on Images
All images on this site are real. Box art, cover art, screenshots, and photography are sourced from publishers, retailers, and the community. We don’t use AI-generated art.
The Dice Drop is independent and AI-powered. We’re not affiliated with any publisher, retailer, or platform. Nobody pays us to say nice things.
